Ryvita Independent Retail Campaign
Plum have worked with RYVITA on a wide and varied range of projects for many years - including; Direct Mail, ATL and POS - both within the retail and trade sectors.
When RYVITA refreshed their packaging and extended their range, teaming up with Cancer Research UK and Davina McCall as their brand ambassador, they really wanted to shout about it!
Plum were asked to develop and implement a strategy to target the independent sector, designed to drive distribution and incentivise retailers to stock the range extension.

Our solution was to segment the Plum database of independent retailers who stock cereals and packaged goods and target them with direct mail. Mailings were used to promote the launch, provide key category facts and merchandising tips as well as cross sell within the range. A strong offer strategy was also deployed to incentivise retailers to stock.
The mailing campaign was supported by trade press and point of sale within cash & carry.

The campaign proved to be a great success, driving retailers into Cash & Carry, increasing both the uptake of the new range as well as awareness of all the new activity.
